An event organised by The Stephen Carey Fund to raise funds to help combat cardiac arrest through the provision of public access defibrillators and promotion of CPR skills has raised over £400 towards the cause.

One of the regions top pool players, Chris Gill, who has represented both his county and country gave up his evening freely to provide a demonstration on the finer arts of pool. Chris took on all challengers during the evening and set the tone from the first frame which he cleared the table from the break in less than 40 seconds.

With the addition of a raffle the total sum raised on the night was an impressive £415. The Trustees of the charity would like to thank all of the sponsors for their various donations:

  • Sportsworld
  • Alnwick Car Wash & Valeting Centre
